Luke 18:1-8 & Ephesians 6:18 I hate to pay money for something I shouldn’t have to because I did something stupid. Getting a ticket, paying a late fee at the BMV, accidentally over drafting on an account, and the like drive me nuts because they are all situations that, if I had been prepared, would have been just fine. However, because I wasn’t prepared or made a stupid decision, it ended up costing me. In our prayer life, it’s really important that we are prepared to pray persistently and approach God with all of our prayer requests.  How many times have you had to start out a desperate prayer with the awkward “God, I know I haven’t prayed much lately.” Having a healthy prayer life allows us to have a strong relationship with God at all times and not just when disaster hits.
