Matthew 6:5-13 I hate golf. I’d love to play it, but I can’t. I’ve tried to play golf, and I was really really bad. It makes me so frustrated to watch other people at the driving range (as I repeatedly whiff every time I swing) because they make it look so easy. There’s few things in the world more frustrating than when you can’t do something that just seems to come easy to others. Prayer is one of those things that can be frustrating because we struggle with it but everyone else seems to have it figured out. Often, we don’t pray because we really aren’t sure how to pray.  People always talk about how easy it is to talk to God, but many times we just don’t know what to say. The next time you sit down to pray, take a play out of Jesus’ teaching about prayer. First, praise God for how good and awesome he is, thank Him for everything He has done in your life, ask for forgiveness for the things you’ve done wrong and guidance for the tough times. Finish up by simply asking God to help you with the situations you’re going through. Prayer can sometimes be intimidating, but, remember, God wants you to pray and have a relationship with Him. He wants us to talk to Him just like we would a close friend. READ THROUGH THE NEW TESTAMENT Today’s Reading: Mark 4]]>
