Ephesians 4:14-16 I didn’t learn how to swim until I was a teenager. Most of the time I just splashed around in the shallow end and avoided going into the deep end of the pool…I really liked swimming in 4 foot, above ground pools. I would be uncomfortable and pretty embarrassed anytime I was at the pool with my friends. Finally, I just had to jump into the deep end of the pool and learn how to swim.  I didn’t know what my next step would be, but I knew that jumping in was the only way I could figure it out. Building a relationship with God is the same way.  As Christians, we never know where God will plant our next step, but we do know that he will be there for us when we dive in. He knows it can be scary and uncomfortable, but He also knows what is truly best for our lives. He also has an amazing plan to do great things through each of us. We may not always know what He has in store for us, but, the only way to figure it out, is by jumping in and taking that next step.
