Ephesians 4:11-13 Every year around this time, it’s nearly impossible to not catch some random flu bug or head cold because EVERYONE, it seems, is sick. I hate to be sick. I’m a baby when I’m sick. I just can’t handle it. Being sick is no fun because you’re body isn’t working properly and can’t do the things it’s supposed to do. The same is true for a church.  When a church is healthy, people are building up others, serving the community, and equipping others for the work of the church.  A healthy church is open to serving members and outsiders; they regularly focus on others rather than themselves. When a church stops being about these things and becomes inward focused, begins fighting, or just wasting its time on trivial things, it becomes a sick church because it’s not working properly and isn’t doing the things it’s supposed to do. For the church to be a healthy church, it takes the individuals within it living out what it truly means to be a healthy church. That’s you! Make an effort today to encourage someone from C3 or show love to someone that may be considered an outsider. READ THROUGH THE NEW TESTAMENT Today’s Reading: Mark 6]]>
