Luke 10:38-42 Have you ever been so distracted when you are driving that you completely miss a turn you were supposed to make?  We may believe we can think about multiple things at once, but, chances are, unless we actually focus on what we are supposed to, we will get distracted. Sometimes we get so busy with our everyday lives that we forget to sit down and make time for what’s important in our relationship with God. As Christians, God wants a strong relationship with us, and this relationship needs to be developed through prayer and studying the Bible. If you haven’t made your relationship with God a priority in your life, sit down and give it a try.  When we are running around busily like Martha, we often miss out on the blessings God wants us to enjoy if we would just slow down and make time for Him.
