Romans 12:4-8 A few years ago, Southern Ohio made national news in a positive way when Jake Porter, a mentally handicapped high schooler, was given the opportunity to run in a touchdown for the high school football team (check out the story here from WSAZ). Even though his team got blown out of the game, he was able to impact an incredible amount of people throughout the nation because of his determination, excitement, and generosity of two football teams and coaches. It was a situation no one expected that became a huge story. The same is true at church. Many times, God uses the things we least expect to make a huge difference around us. We all have gifts and abilities given to us by God, and we need to be willing to use those gifts however God sees fit.  It’s quite possible that God wants to use the gift you believe isn’t that big of a deal in a great and perhaps unimaginable way.  Use your gifts; it’s a responsibility and often a blessing to others.
