Colossians 3:1-7 I hate to drive to somewhere I don’t know. I hate it partly because I’m not a very good driver, but I also hate driving on a trip because I have a horrible sense of direction. Even when people give me directions or I have a GPS, I can still get lost because I’m not very good at following directions. I tend to ignore or forget a certain aspect of the directions and get completely off track. You can’t typically ignore directions and expect to get to the right place. The same thing goes with our life and God’s Word. You can’t ignore how God tells us to live our life in the Bible and expect to get to where God wants you to be in life. Nowhere is this more true than when it comes to sexual purity. In the proper context, sex is a beautiful thing that God created for us to enjoy and to enrich our lives. When we don’t follow God’s directions when it comes to our purity, we can quickly derail our life, relationships, and spiritual health. You can’t get to where God wants you to be in your life and relationships by ignoring the directions that God has given us.]]>
