Read Genesis 1:27 & Ephesians 2:8-10
What did you want to be growing up? Me, I wanted to be an astronaut. I remember loving Apollo 13 as a kid and thinking “I bet I could’ve done a better job getting to the moon than these guys!”. My sister, on the other hand, like a lot of young girls, just wanted to be a princess.
Many girls grow up dreaming of being a princess, but that dream slowly fades as they get older. It’s not long before the realities and responsibilities of life overcome them. Many times, instead of having the confidence of a princess, they begin to have low self-esteem and feelings of unworthiness. These feelings can often lead to bad choices which can even make them feel worse about themselves.
No matter who you are, man or woman, princess or not, you are valuable in God’s eyes. Even when we don’t feel like we are worth much, we can be confident in knowing that God still loves us anyway. We are priceless in His eyes.
