Read 1 Peter 3:1-6
I have a friend who a few years ago was broken up with by a girl because he simply didn’t realize the differences between men and women. He would often not pay for his girlfriend’s dinner, ditch her to go hang out with other people, and, generally, treated her like “one of the guys.”
My friend was ignorant on the well known fact that men and women are different. They differ on what they think is romantic. They feel valuable and special because of different action and words. In fact, most people are different. Do you just do what you would want and treat others as if you were them? Or, do you try to treat others and do things in a way that you know they’ll like?
