PRAY: This prayer prompt is designed to help get you started in your prayer time. Use this to either begin your personal prayer time or your prayer time with your spouse or family. The original readers of Isaiah had a guilt problem. Even those who hadn’t hurt anyone directly had stood by while others hurt the weak. They let the powerful oppress the helpless. Isaiah’s response to both groups was to “STOP IT!” With the command to stop it was also an invitation to talk about these things. The people’s worst sins could be clean again. The people are commanded at first to Stop, Learn, Seek, Punish, Help, and stand up. But, in the latter part of the passage, God does the work. All they had to do was believe and turn toward Him, and then they would be cleaned and forgiven. God calls us to action, but he also calls us to trust and believe in Him. Pray and ask God what He would call you to do by stopping, learning, seeking, punishing, helping, or standing up, and ask Him what you need to just trust Him with. Two-a-days are designed for you to connect with God and those closest to you. Feel free to modify this plan to fit your and your family’s needs.]]>
