PRAY: This prayer prompt is designed to help get you started in your prayer time. Use this to either begin your personal prayer time or your prayer time with your spouse or family. Ezekiel was one of the first of the exiles who was carried off to Babylon more than ten years before the final siege and fall of Jerusalem. He was taken away with many of the leaders of the land. They were together, but they were captives in a foreign land. Ezekiel knew that their punishment was a direct result of God’s anger towards them. As far as Ezekiel knew, God might never talk to them again. But, then came Ezekiel’s vision. God appeared in awesome power, with a whirlwind, a raging fire, and brightness radiating. We all go through spiritual valleys and dark places, sometimes because of our sin, sometimes for reasons we don’t understand. Sometimes we seem very far from God, but He is there even when we don’t see Him. Every now and then, He gives us a little glimpse. Spend some time in prayer today to ask God to show you His presence in an area of your life where you struggle to see Him. Two-a-days are designed for you to connect with God and those closest to you. Feel free to modify this plan to fit your and your family’s needs.]]>
