Once Jacob and his sons settled into Egypt survive the famine with the help of Joseph, they spent several centuries there as a family. By this time, the one family coming from Abraham, Issaac, and Jacob had grown to a people numbering in the hundreds of thousands or more. But, during their time in Egypt, they had become slaves who were forced to do hard labor for the Egyptians to survive. That was until God called Moses to lead the charge to lead His people out of slavery in Egypt. Have you ever felt like God was pointing you toward something that was too big for you to handle? This is how Moses felt when God told him to deliver his people. Take a moment to talk to God about the thing in your life that is too much for you to handle. Ask God to give you wisdom, strength, and perseverance, but, most importantly, ask Him to help you learn to lean on and trust Him.
Two-a-days are designed for you to connect with God and those closest to you. Feel free to modify this plan to fit your and your family’s needs.
