Read: 2 Timothy 3:16-17

God tells us the Bible is God-breathed…that is, it is inspired by God Himself and not just any ordinary book. It has the power to correct, train, and equip every believer for “every good work.”

Reading the Bible every day can change the rest of your days, and God’s word—the Bible—is the primary way He speaks to us. Reading the Bible will bring you hope, encouragement, guidance, and practical advice on the everyday issues you’re facing. It is relevant to everyone, everywhere, at any time. You can’t have a close relationship with someone you never talk to. It’s impossible. God’s word—the Bible—is the primary way He speaks to us. And it’s the absolute best way to discover how to follow Jesus on a daily basis.

The gospel isn’t just about how we understand salvation. The gospel through the Bible is a constant reminder of our total dependence on the Holy Spirit to live a life that pleases God.
