Read: Matthew 4:4
One question you might be thinking is if we finish this guide but continue to meet together, then what will we read? To improve group meetings, it’s typically better for your group to read the same thing each day, but it’s not essential. Here are three simple ways to read the Bible together as a group.
Three Reading Suggestions
CrossTraining: C3 church creates a daily devotional that you can read on the app, c3church.tv or get emailed to you each morning. It takes about five minutes and usually follows along with the message from the previous week.
Youversion Reading Plans: The youversion Bible app has an unlimited number of reading plans. You can even join a plan as a group to read together and see others comments each day. One popular plan is Project 345 where you read for five minutes M-F and finish the New Testament in a year.
A Book of the Bible: You can choose a book of the Bible and everyone read a chapter a day. The book of Mark, John, Ephesians, Philippians or James would all be great books to begin with.
Text the Daily: Have you been consistently reading God’s Word each day?
Journal Question: How can we continue to stay in God’s Word after we finish this guide. Discuss as a group.
Prayer Starter: Jesus, use your Word to change our hearts to become more like you.
