Read John 11:32-44

Have you ever been driving a car when the brakes go out? It’s one of the scariest experiences you will ever have because you have no control. You try everything to get the car to stop and regain control of the situation, but there’s very little you can do. I get that same feeling in my life sometimes. There are times when I face situations that just seem out of my control. It doesn’t matter what I do to try to take control of the situation, it just seems to make things worse. As a matter of fact, most of the time when we are trying to take control of things in our life is when we find our lives are the most out of control. When our life is spinning out of control, we often want to question or doubt God, but, really, it’s just a matter of us wanting to have control over our lives. We want things to happen the way we want them to in the amount of time we want them to happen. God knows what’s best for our lives, and He wants to lead us there. We shouldn’t be in control of our own life. It’s when we try to take control that we end up worse than where we started. READ THROUGH THE NEW TESTAMENT Today’s Reading: John 10]]>
