4 x 6 Plan | Read: Matthew 24:15-31 & Ephesians 6:1-9

For as the lightning flashes in the east and shines to the west, so it will be when the Son of Man comes.  (Matthew 24:27)

A few years ago our family was boating on Grayson Lake with a friend.  My friend who owned the boat said, “What a perfect day without a cloud in sight.”.  That  jinxed us because one of the worst lightning storms I’ver ever experienced came out of nowhere.   It’s a pretty helpless feeling when you are caught in a storm in the middle of a lake. Life is similar.   It’s easy to feel overwhelmed and lost amidst the storm, but in the midst of it all, Jesus offers us a message of hope and assurance.

During my own journey through life’s storms, I’ve faced moments of doubt, fear, and confusion. There were times when it seemed like the storm would never subside. But through it all, I discovered the incredible power of God’s grace and love.

I want to encourage that no matter what storm you may be facing, you are not alone. Jesus is with you, ready to calm the waves and bring peace to your soul. In His presence, we find strength, courage, and the assurance that He is working all things together for our good.

As you navigate the uncertainties of life, lean on God’s grace and trust in His plan. Let His love be your anchor, grounding you in the midst of life’s storms. And remember, just as the storm eventually passes, so too will your current trials. In the end, you will emerge stronger, wiser, and filled with a deeper understanding of God’s unending grace.
