Read Luke 15:18-24

A few weeks ago, alumni from North Carolina were upset by the fact that the current UNC student body rushed the court when they beat their arch rival Duke in a basketball game. They were upset because their program is a major powerhouse in college basketball. They believed that beating Duke should be expected and not something to go crazy in celebration over. They were frustrated because the fans had went nuts over something that shouldn’t have that big of a deal.

We do this alot in our lives. We celebrate things that should either be expected or aren’t that big of a deal. In God’s eyes, changed lives are that which is worth celebrating. Nothing brings joy to the Father more than when one of His children that was lost returns to Him. We can be thankful, appreciative and happy for all the blessings that God has given us, but it is lost people being found that we should celebrate. That’s what’s important.

Who around you are you seeing God impact that you can celebrate. Spend time thanking Him for changing your life and the life of the people around you. We should celebrate with others as well when God impacts lives.]]>
