Read Matthew 28:16-20
Every now and then, one of my friends will become obsessed with a tv show, movie, or some random game. For weeks, it’s all they talk about. If they find out someone else likes the same thing that they like, it’s like an immediate bond, and they talk about the same subject for what seems like hours. They think anyone who doesn’t like what they like are absolutely crazy. It’s natural to want to share about what you are excited about and invite others to try it out if they don’t already.
This is how our relationship with God and other people should look like. God wants us to experience such a relationship with Him that we feel compelled to go out and talk about Him to those we spend our lives around. He wants us to invite others to experience Him on a deeper lever or for even the first time. Whether it is inviting someone who doesn’t believe in God to church or asking someone that attends church to become more involved, God wants us to help others take their next step.
God has called all of His followers to go find people. Are you finding others and inviting them to take their next step?]]>
