PRAY: This prayer prompt is designed to help get you started in your prayer time. Use this to either begin your personal prayer time or your prayer time with your spouse or family.
The first enemies the Israelites encountered in the promised land was in Jericho. When they were ready to begin the fight, God gave them odd instructions. Instead of having them launch a brilliant military offensive, God told them to march around the city walls once a day for six days and seven times on the seventh day. It didn’t make sense, but the Israelites did it anyway. When they blew the trumpets after the seventh lap on the seventh day, the walls came down and the Israelites prevailed over Jericho. Do you ever feel like God wants you to do things that do not make sense? Sometimes God just wants us to trust Him and be obedient even when we don’t understand what’s going on. Take a few minutes to ask God what He would have you do. Ask Him to help you follow through even if you don’t understand why.
Two-a-days are designed for you to connect with God and those closest to you. Feel free to modify this plan to fit your and your family’s needs.
