4 x 6 Plan | Read: Matthew 24:1-14 & Ephesians 5:22-33

And the Good News about the Kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, so that all nations will hear it; and then the end will come.  (Matthew 24:14)

I had a family member years ago that was laid off and looking for a job.  I could tell he was stressed.  I asked him about it a few weeks later and he told me that he was even more stressed because now he had two offers and didn’t know what to choose!  I realized that we all struggle with uncertainty even when things get better.  Am I making the right choice?  Should I take this job?  What about this disease or sickness?  I’m sure you have also felt overwhelmed by the uncertainty and chaos of the world around you, wondering how to find hope and purpose in the midst of it all?

In Matthew 24:1-14, Jesus speaks about the challenges that will come in this world—times of tribulation, false prophets, and a prevailing sense of self-interest. It’s easy to feel disheartened when we see the state of the world today. However, in the midst of all this, Jesus offers us hope and a reminder of His unchanging love and grace.

While the world may be in turmoil, we can hold on to our faith and find strength in Jesus. He assures us that even in the darkest of times, His light shines through. As followers of Christ, we are called to be a source of hope and inspiration to those around us. We have the opportunity to show the transformative power of God’s grace in our lives.

Instead of being discouraged by the shifting times or some current uncertainty you’re facing, let us anchor ourselves in the unwavering truth of God’s love. As we navigate the challenges, let us embrace them as opportunities for growth and an invitation to make a positive impact. By extending kindness, compassion, and love to others, we can be a living testimony of Christ’s grace.
