4 x 6 Plan | Read: Matthew 6:19-34 & Romans 4:1-12

Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? (Matthew 6:27)

Have you ever found yourself constantly worrying about the future? Maybe you’re worried about your job, your relationships, or your finances. It’s easy to get caught up in these worries and forget to trust in God’s provision. But in Matthew 6:19-34, Jesus reminds us that we don’t need to worry about these things. He tells us to focus on seeking God’s kingdom first and trust that He will provide everything we need.

When we put our trust in God, we can let go of our worries and anxieties. We can have peace knowing that God is in control and has our best interests at heart. We don’t need to chase after material possessions or worry about what the future holds. Instead, we can focus on building a relationship with God and living for His purposes. As we seek His kingdom first, God promises to take care of all our needs. So let’s trust in Him and live with a sense of peace and contentment, knowing that He is faithful and always provides for His children.

The “Great” News of the Gospel | Romans 4:1-12

The gospel is great news from Romans 4:1-12 because it reminds us that our salvation is based solely on faith in Christ and not on our works or efforts. We are made righteous not by our own deeds, but by our trust in God’s promises. Abraham, the father of faith, is a prime example of this truth. He was declared righteous not because of his actions, but because of his faith in God. This means that no matter how much we may fall short or fail in our own strength, we can still be made right with God through faith in Jesus Christ.

This message of grace is liberating and empowering because it frees us from the burden of trying to earn our salvation. It reminds us that we don’t have to be perfect to be accepted by God. We can come to Him with all our flaws, mistakes, and weaknesses, and trust that His grace is sufficient to cover us. This truth also encourages us to persevere in faith, knowing that our salvation is secure in Christ, and that we have a future hope that is secure and steadfast.
