Read James 2:14-17
Think of the most impressive people you know. What sets them apart from the rest of the people around you? There might be some exceptions, but chances are good that you are impressed by them because what they say they believe and how they live match up. Some of the most annoying people you know are probably those who are outspoken about believing something, but they never do anything about it.
This is because believing isn’t worth a whole lot unless it’s accompanied by action. Real faith is believing what God has said even though we can’t see it, but it doesn’t end there. We also have to do something about it. You can feel something all you want. You don’t really get anywhere until you do something about it.
What is God asking you to do? How is God asking you to get involved? What have you been thinking or believing, but you haven’t been acting on it? It’s time to act. It’s time to do something.
