Ephesians 4:26-27 When I was in High School, there was a kid in our class who had a very short fuse. It didn’t take much to get him to become angry and blow a gasket. He would seem to be fine, and then, when something very small wouldn’t go his way, he would get upset. While we can all point to people who get angry easily, we all have times where we are prone to getting angry quickly. It might be when we are tired or over a certain issue, but we all have our triggers. Unfortunately, our spouses and others close to us can often be one of the things that will set us off the quickest. A quick remark or an action that bugs us is often enough to get us upset and angry. Even if one member of the relationships doesn’t have a quick fuse, they will often bottle up these feelings of anger and frustration to the point that, eventually, it won’t take much to push them over the edge. Whatever the case for you, how we handle our anger when it comes to our relationships is vitally important. God tells us that we should be slow to anger and allow our quick tempers to overcome us. He also warns against bottling up frustration and tells us to deal with it quickly by not allowing the day to end while still being upset. How do you handle your anger when it comes to your relationships with your spouse and others you are close to?]]>
