Matthew 1:18-21 We were all taught growing up that we need to do the right thing. We know we need to forgive, help people who can’t help themselves, be nice to people and stand up for them when they are bullied, and be generous and share with those around us in need. For the most part, we do a good job of doing the right thing except when it’s going to be hard, unpopular,  or inconvenient. That’s when it’s hard to do the right thing even when we know what it is. Joseph was a man who was obedient to God. What makes Joseph special is that he chose to continue to obey God and do the right thing even when what was happening in his life didn’t make sense. Most of us, like Joseph, want to be close to God, but it is how we react during the difficult times in life that determines what kind of life we will live. Are you being obedient to God in your life?]]>
